Babies born alive as a result of abortions are left to die in this country. That’s something that I can’t remain quiet about anymore.

In last fortnight’s newsletter, I mentioned my proposed Human Rights (Children Born Alive Protection) Bill. In the last sitting of federal parliament, I gave a speech where outlined why I was pushing this proposed law and what the law would seek to do.

Some negativity came from the left-wing online blog, The Guardian which sought out some obviously completely unbiased comments from an abortionist (that’s sarcasm by the way!) The claims made in that article are wrong. Late term abortions are common and the statistics that we have show that. Babies are also born alive as a result of these abortions. Again, the statistics show that. More than 200 were born alive over a 10 year period in Queensland and 33 were born in a single year in Victoria.

I urge you to get behind my campaign to protect babies born alive as a result of abortions. More news on Keswick Island

Readers of Nation First will know I’ve been campaigning to have the Queensland Labor Government terminate the head lease to Keswick Island - a tropical paradise off of the coast of Mackay - which was flogged off to a Chinese company in 2019. Life has become very tough for residents on that island after a range of changes concerning access were made by their new Chinese landlords.

Victims of the CCP rally in Australia

I had the pleasure of speaking to a large gathering of pro-democracy Chinese activists, Hong Kong freedom fighters, Taiwanese independence supporters, Tibetans, Uyghurs, Chinese Christians and Falun Gong practitioners in Canberra recently.

These men and women - many of them having fled their homeland and/or now unable to return home for fear of imprisonment - have become staunch defenders of Australia and our national sovereignty, especially against Chinese Communist Party aggression and infiltration. The new alliance has already called for the Australian Government to adopt Magnitsky laws so they can sanction Chinese Communist Party officials who violate international law. This is a move I strongly support.

It was such an honour to be able to encourage this group as they officially formed. I also gave interviews at the event with pro-democracy Chinese media NTDTV and The Epoch Times on my view that Australia should boycott the 2022 Winter Olympics being held in Communist China. Thoughts on Craig Kelly leaving govt

I will be blunt on this one.

Craig Kelly is my mate. And Australians don’t abandon their mates.

The media has mercilessly and unfairly attacked Craig Kelly, Facebook also shut him down, and sadly there’s been a fair bit of friendly fire towards Craig as well. I would have much preferred Craig stay within the government and fight but I understand he’s made a decision he felt was the only way forward.

I will continue to support Craig in his new mission, which - as he stated on his reactivated Facebook page recently - is to ensure that “those that want to sell us out to China, that have tried to suppress free speech, and that have engaged in a war against early (COVID-19) treatment… have nowhere to hide.” Ripper!
